Phone Matching (Database Capture)
This information can prove useful for your demographic studies or for statistical and direct marketing purposes.

It allows you to develop a new database of clients or to obtain new information to be added to an existing database. Your program of telephone numbers can be structured to allow you to obtain the most information based on your needs for all 800, 900, or local lines.

Example: You are a car dealership advertising your products via an 800 service number. The potential customer who calls in begins by selecting the language in which he would prefer to receive information. Then he goes on to select the brand, model, and year of the car that interests him. Afterwards, for example, you can send this information to him through the mail.


Automatic Number Identification
One of the most interesting features of the new Digital Services Network technology consists of giving you the means of identifying a caller immediately, before you’ve even answered the call. This allows you to block out under-age callers and those who don’t pay their bills.


Call Volume
Saturn Audiotext maintains high performance equipment and is capable of managing calls in large quantities. Our equipment allows us to receive a multitude of calls simultaneously to one destination 900, 800, or local number, all within a short period of time.

An example of this would be an advertisement, placed either on television or radio, that encourages viewers or listeners to respond immediately by calling the advertised telephone number.

Our Audiotext server allows you to respond to a higher volume of calls simultaneously. The sound is clearer and call management is more rapid, secure, and economical.


Agent Priority
This option allows you to direct calls primarily towards your best agents so that you can better manage your incoming calls, thereby improving the quality of the service.

Agent Priority also allows you to better reward your agents because, whether they are paid by the call or by the minute, the program will motivate them to do their best in order to be called first and thus receive a larger volume of calls.


Account Manager
The person in charge of your account at Saturn Audiotext is your link with all our other departments from the moment you begin to do business with us. This person will work with you through all the stages of your project and is responsible for your overall satisfaction.


Billing and Collection
You will decide the rate at which your clients will be billed. Stentor (Bell Canada) will see to the billing of all calls placed to your 900 number from anywhere within Canada.

The rates may vary from 50 cents ($0.50) per minute up to a maximum of fifty dollars ($50) per call for 900 lines and $15 per call for 976 lines, which are served solely in Quebec.


Pre-recorded Information
This program is used to provide pre-recorded information regarding your business hours, business address, or simply your products and services, such as legal advice lines, horoscopes and other services.


Multiple Programs for Contests and Promotions
Our programs allow you to print codes and have them inserted in your postal mailings. When your clients call in to your information line, after the initial survey or information is given, they will be asked to enter this code to have a chance at winning a prize (the number of chances is up to you).

Calling Cards
The prepaid calling card is a smart, practical tool responding to the growing needs of today’s consumer.

In keeping with the latest technological trends, this card allows its user to purchase minutes for the desired service in advance. In this way, the user can benefit from his calling card at any given time from any location. This secure, discreet item also makes a wonderful gift.

How does the calling card work?

It’s as simple as saying “hello”! Take the example of our calling card for “La Clinique d’Ésotérisme du Québec”, a prepaid psychic consultation worth 10 minutes of uninterrupted time. (If the client wishes, he may use only a portion of the time and keep the remainder for another consultation.)

The holder of the calling card must follow the instructions on the back of the card. The user simply dials the number on the back of the card using a touch tone telephone.

To uncover the telecode number, the user must scratch the black band on the back of the card; there he will find an 8-digit number. This number is extremely important, for it is the telecode number that will allow access to the prepaid service.

The holder will be able to listen to the descriptions, along with the special abilities, of each of the psychics available at the time of his call. (Please note that the calling time does not run out while the user listens to these descriptions.) Afterwards, the user selects the psychic with whom he wishes to consult and the call is then transferred.

Visatel
This program allows users to purchase time for a consultation by credit card, performing the transaction themselves.

It’s very simple. The client enters the numbers appearing on his credit card. It is necessary to have a touch-tone telephone in order to use this service. The client obtains the service immediately, as soon as he has entered the numbers on his credit card.

However, the first time the client uses the service, he must speak to a customer service agent in order to supply credit card information that will then be used to validate his card. Once the card is validated, he will be able to make purchases on his own, without speaking to an agent.

Re-Match
This system allows the caller to immediately reach the last person with whom he consulted (so long as that person is still available). For example, if the client has just finished a call and wishes to consult with the same person again, he may redial the same number and then enter “00”. Our Re-Match system will automatically re-connect him with that same person.

Requesting an Advantage 900 Service Number
The following information is required by Bell Canada when requests are made for Advantage 900 lines.
  1. Name of service supplier (your company name)
  2. Billing name (your company name)
  3. Address
  4. Name of program (maximum 12 characters; example: Nostradamus)
  5. Business number
  6. Fax number
  7. Telephone number for information service (can be submitted later)
  8. Price of service (rate per minute or fixed rate per call)
  9. GST registration number
  10. PST registration number
  11. A description of your 900 program and an example of a typical call to your service. (What does your service consist of? Example: predicting the future. Submit a sample call.)
Promotional strategies: TV, radio, magazines, newspapers. If yes, then which ones. (State where advertising will be done, specifically name the magazines or newspapers, television or radio stations.)

Procedure for Creating a 900 Program with Saturn Audiotext
There are 4 steps to creating a 900 line program. The following procedure has been established to ensure that all the necessary steps are taken so that your 900 project is completed as soon as possible.

STEP 1

The first step is the most important. We gather the necessary information concerning the service you wish to offer and set the price the consumer will have to pay for this service. There will be a form to complete so that we may better respect the terms of your request. Once this form has been completed, the person in charge of your project will verify your concept. (All information given to Saturn Audiotext remains confidential.) We then make sure that your project complies with the regulations of the CRTC and your telephone company.

STEP 2

Step 2 consists of having your project analyzed by our programmers and technicians to make certain that all is in accordance with your request. This will also tell us what equipment, resources, and number of lines will be needed.

STEP 3

As soon as an agreement has been made that respects your programming needs and financial resources, your account manager will complete the “Information Suppliers Agreement”. An authorized representative of your company must sign this agreement.

During this third step, we will also help you complete the forms from Stentor that must be sent to the Telephone Company for approval. This step may take seven to fifteen business days. (Stentor is the corporation that represents the telephone companies within Canada.)

STEP 4

In this fourth and final step, your application is approved and the Telephone Company gives us your 900 number. At this time, the Operations Manager sees that your 900 number is programmed into our systems. This procedure may take five to ten business days. Once programming is complete, we will be able to give you a “starting date” on which you may begin taking calls.

All of our offices are located ¼ mile from Bell power stations, making them perfect for 976 lines. We have access to a large volume of Centrex lines already installed on our premises.
